Legoland Water Park

Playing with LEGO bricks or having fun in a park with slides, pools and water games? Both! You can do it at Gardaland's Legoland Waterpark.

To combat boredom and the sultry summer heat, there is nothing better than a water park… or at least that was true until recently. Now there is something better: Legoland Water Park on Lake Garda, the aquapark that adds to water fun that of the legendary bricks that have driven generations of children (and adults too!) crazy.

The unique appeal of Legoland Waterpark lies in the fact that you can find all the classic attractions of an aquapark themed with Lego bricks: an experience that combines two must-have attractions for children!

The one of Castelnuovo sul Garda is the first LEGOLAND® Water Park in Europe and the first in the world built inside another amusement park. It is in fact part of Gardaland Resort, the mega family resort created around Gardaland, the most famous Italian amusement park.

Treat your children to an unforgettable day in this perfect oasis of play, creativity and fantasy. It is an opportunity for you to completely switch off and maybe even feel like a child again.

The attractions of Legoland Water Park

Legoland Water Park is designed primarily as a family amusement park; the attractions are aimed at children between the ages of two and twelve. There are interactive water games, pools, slides, relaxation areas and even a miniature Italy, all of course LEGO-themed!

But specifically what can you do at Legoland Water Park? Here are the park’s attractions divided into themed areas.

LEGO® River Adventure

Comfortably lying on an inflatable donut you can go down a placid river and admire along the way an underwater cave and some of Italy’s most beautiful monuments in miniature. The originality of the LEGO River Adventure is that you can customise your donut with floating bricks.

LEGO® Creation Island

Creation Island is the play area where you can give free rein to your creativity. Lots of bricks to build boats, castles and anything else your imagination suggests… all with your feet submerged in water, so you don’t have to worry about the heat and maybe even get a refreshing idea!

Build a Boat

Build a Boat is the next step for budding boaters. Here, the little LEGO designers can put a brick boat they have created to the test right away by letting it sail on a small pond where a course infested with winding rapids has been created. A perfect play area for exciting family challenges.

DUPLO® Water Works

Again room for imagination and creativity, but this time the bricks to be used are DUPLO instead of LEGO. Designed for the little ones, the DUPLO Water Works area is full of interactive and educational activities.

Pirate Bay

Pirate Bay is the themed pool where mum and dad can swim and relax while the kids play pirates. The goal is to conquer a fortress, but to get there you have to fight LEGO characters in the water.

Jungle Oasis and Jungle Adventure

If you prefer a jungle theme to pirates, move on to Jungle Adventure and Jungle Oasis. The first is a swimming pool with slides that you can slide down free or with rubber dinghies; the second is a pool with refreshing jets… but watch out for crocodiles!

DUPLO® Splash

DUPLO Splash is the pool designed for the little ones. The water is shallow, perfect for splashing around and playing safely, and there are cute little animals spraying water to keep your children company.

Beach Party

It’s time for a big party in the water! The Beach Party at LEGOLAND Water Park is the multi-level play area with towers, ladders to climb up and down, slides to throw yourself into the water, cannons, splash…

Miniland

After so much fun in the water, treat yourself to a walk through the most beautiful monuments in Italy: they are magnificent scale reproductions built with thousands of LEGO bricks.

On the same day you can take a fun photo in front of the Colosseum in Rome, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Doge’s Palace in Venice and many other magnificent places recreated with all the colour and fantasy of the legendary bricks.

Entrance tickets to Legoland Waterpark

Entry to Legoland Waterpark is only possible through Gardaland Park. There is in fact no single ticket for the water park: it is necessary to purchase a combined Gardaland Park and LEGOLAND Water Park ticket.

The good news is that if you initially only want to visit Gardaland and then decide to extend your fun with water games you can pay a supplement at the ticket offices or sales points inside Gardaland that also gives you access to the other park.

However, we recommend buying your ticket online to save the long queues at the ticket offices.

Where to stay around Legoland Waterpark

If, instead of visiting Legoland Waterpark on a day trip, you would like to stay overnight in the area, you have two options: sleeping in the hotels of the Gardaland Resort or staying in one of the nearby resorts of Lake Garda.

There are three official Gardaland hotels (Gardaland Hotel, Gardaland Adventure Hotel and Gardaland Magic Hotel), all located close to the entrance of Gardaland Park. They are 4-star hotels with standard rooms and themed rooms.

The proximity of Legoland Waterpark to popular resorts such as Peschiera or Lazise means that you can comfortably stay in a hotel on Lake Garda. This widens the choice considerably: in less than 10 km you will find budget hotels, luxury hotels, b&b’s, flats and holiday homes.

How to reach Legoland Waterpark

Legoland Waterpark can be easily reached either by car or by public transport.

The Peschiera del Garda and Sommacampagna motorway exits, located along the A4, the motorway that crosses northern Italy from west to east, are only a few kilometres away from the park entrance. If you are coming from the north, take the A2, exit at Affi and take the road to Peschiera del Garda until you find the signs for Gardaland Resort.

The train station of Peschiera del Garda is about 2 km from the entrance of the resort and is connected by a free shuttle bus leaving every 30 minutes; the journey takes just 5 minutes. Many regional and Intercity trains on the Milan-Venice line stop in Peschiera, so getting there by train is very convenient.

It is also possible to get to Peschiera del Garda by local and long-distance buses and from there to the park by shuttle bus.

Verona airport is only 22 km away, Brescia airport is 40 km away and Bergamo-Orio al Serio, one of Italy’s most important airports for low-cost airlines, is less than 100 km away.
