What the Verona Card includes

The Verona Card is a cumulative ticket that allows free or reduced admission to some of the city’s most important sites. This Card, for example, includes entrance to theArena, Juliet’s House, the Cathedral Complex, the Castelvecchio Museum, the Lamberti Tower and the Arche Scaligere. Also included are the Basilica of S. Anastasia and that of S. Zeno, the Church of S. Fermo, the Palazzo della Ragione and the Archaeological Museum at the Roman Theatre. In addition to the sites of interest, the use of all local public transport via the urban ATV Verona lines is also included.

At other attractions, reduced entrance fees are available for Verona Card holders. The Giardino Giusti, the Fondazione Biblioteca Capitolare and the National Archaeological Museum of Verona can be visited at a reduced price. In addition to discounts on visits, discounts are also available at shops, car parks and activities both in the city and in nearby localities. With the Verona Card you can also enter some sites in the cities of Trento and Rovereto free of charge, such as the Mart (the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Trento and Rovereto), the Castello del Buonconsiglio in Trento and the Muse – Museo delle Scienze in Rovereto.

What is not included in the Verona Card

Not included in the Verona Card is the Aerobus service connecting the city toVerona Catullo Airport.

How the Verona Card works

The Verona Card can be purchased online or at the city’s Tourist Information and Reception Office (IAT) located in Piazza Bra in Verona. There are also other points where the card can be purchased on site, such as some museums, tobacconists and hotels. The advice, however, is to purchase the card on the Internet before setting off.

Once purchased, the Verona Card must be shown at all sites of interest included that you wish to visit. The card should also be presented at affiliated activities in order to be entitled to discounts, offers or benefits. The Verona Card allows free travel on city buses and the card must be validated every time you board the means of transport.

The Verona Card comes in two denominations: 24 and 48 hours from first use. First use refers to the moment when the card is used for the first time at a participating establishment or on a bus.

How much does the Verona Card cost

The Verona Card is available in two versions costing € 20.00 and € 25.00 and are valid for 24 and 48 hours respectively from the first use.
